My guess is that this is vintage 1970s or so

bright white with rusty orange-red lids that feature a ripple design that gives them a Japanese sensibility

with some aging to the cardstock and a few spots here and there

would make me feel quite prepared for most anything

WWII I am guessing and made of heavy tin, with great image of a heart shaped lock on one side, what I believe are a tree, stalk of corn and shaft of wheat on the other with sun, moon and star overhead, and then initials planted by artillery shells or perhaps bombs on the side. 2 1 4" l x 1 9 16" w x 13 16"
