The vessel is classified by Local Portuguese Class with special certification for ocean navigation.
The vessel has “International Safety Management” (ISM Code) certificated by the administration of the flag (“DGRM” in
Portugal). The ship has also implemented a “Safety Management System (SMS)”. At this moment, all certificates are expired, because therenewal of the “Seaworthiness Certificate” depends of reparation of the hull and Owners have no work at present to justify this investment.

In 2014/2015 (last dry-dock) they made some works, which cost 126.000 euros, as follows:
– Inspection and maintenance of the propeller and helm
– Hull cleaning
– Maintenance of 17 gate-valves with replacement of seals
– Replacement of the suction-pipe, maintenance of the drag head, and new rubbers ( ready to be mounted).
– Replacement of all piping between the hull, pump, and hopper (these pipes were originally 800x8mm, and were replaced by pipes of800x12mm)
– Repair of the crane (suction pipe)
– Total replacement of the aft bulwark

All machines are in good condition, requiring only normal maintenance (change oil, filters, etc).
To make the ship operational, it is necessary to repair the hull, paint, mount the dredging tube and renew the certificates.
