The vessel is outfitted with diesel electric driven engines, which allows for an environmental friendly and sustainable use. In 2000 during refit, the propulsion was converted to diesel electric and the electric engines and gearboxes for propeller shaft drives were newly installed.
The vessel is ex Dutch Government and very well maintained.
